One day at a time..
That’s how I have to take it. Today’s goal is to get a walk in after work. Life gets so crazy sometimes I’m finding it hard to stay on track with working out and eating. Tonight I am going to take my dog for a walk, drop her off and then get a little walk/jog in (yeah that’s right I’m so unfit I still do walk/jogs instead of actual runs).
Self Control
That is something I need to work on. Eating was pretty on point for most of the day, until right before I went to bed. I ate a heaping portion of honey nut cherrios as well as a few too many sandwich cookies that ended up putting me 400 cals over my daily goal. Today will be better but my weigh in on Friday will probably not make me happy.
First day 100% back on track went well!!! Avoided those pesky doughnuts even though they smelled devine every time I walked past them. Today might be a little harder. I am leaving work early to guy pick up a new car and will be on the road most of the afternoon, I have to find time to squeeze in a good lunch and remember to grab some good snacks before I hit the road. As long as I’m prepared I’ll be good. :)
Still hanging in there!!
I’m back in the game. I realized last night that I have not updated this thing in 6 months. That’s entirely too long and I have no excuses. I am currently 152 pounds and have a goal set for myself to be at 147 by December 16, that is 5 pounds in 4 weeks, I got this! Lately I have been eating horribly but was able to keep some good habits and managed to maintain and not gain. That right there gives me a lot of hope for the future, I’ve always pictured myself getting to my goal weight, getting comfortable with that and lazy with my eating habits and then gaining everything back and then some.
So what all has changed in the last 6 months? I managed to go from a size 14 to a size 10. I was so excited to pull those old ass jeans out from the back of my closet and have them fit, only to realize that it had been so damn long since I’ve worn them that they were out of style. HA!
A salesman just walked in with a dozen doughnuts, here’s to me not caving in a eating one…or five. :)

Yesterday was a bad day.
I ate horribly all day long. My stomach was so upset by the time I went to bed and is still not up to par this morning. Guess what…..the pizza and chex mix that I gorged on, wasn’t even that great. I could have gone without them for sure. Let’s hope I’ve learned my lesson.
Had a girl’s night at my friend’s house last night. I wasn’t worried about it though because I was ready for it and made sure to leave a few more calories for my evening meal than I normally do. I’m proud to report that I did great food wise. Even was able to indulge in a brownie without going over my target calories. Unfortunately, I may have gone a little to far with the wine. I had 4 glasses and wine is about 100-150 cals per glass. Well at least I had a good time, next time I’ll know to bring my Bud Select 55 though.
WIW
It’s that time of the week again. I was nervous when I stepped on the scale this morning. I had been showing good numbers through out the week but Monday is the day that matters.
Starting Weight: 177
STG Weight: 155
Weight Last Week: 157.8
Current Weight: 156.4
Total Weight Loss: 20.6
Finally made it down 20 pounds. I do feel better. I’m for sure not at the weight that I want to be at but I see major differences in my body after twenty pounds. I can see the tendons and veins in the back of my hands (no this is not something I was looking forward to, just didn’t notice that I COULDN’T see them when I was heavier) and can tell that my stomach is getting smaller. My gut does not hang over my pants nearly as much as it used to…… can’t wait until I have no “ledge” (as I call it) at all to worry about.
